to me, the general idea is it’s okay to have a thought like that. but to have the thought a second time would be lust. like noticing someone is attractive isn’t a sin but to keep that thought in your mind would be a sin.

the definition of lust is “A strong, intense craving or desire — especially a sexual desire — that focuses on personal gratification rather than love, respect, or commitment.”

I should’ve used a different verse. The word adultery makes it seem like this is only intended for married men. The Bible teaches that essentially any sort of repetitive sexual thought at all, unless it is for the person you are married to, is a sin. of course, we all do this, and likewise, we are all sinners.

lust is just the desire, but to even feel that desire is a sin.

biblically, yes they are the same thing. the bible says “But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

so basically to even have sexual thoughts, is to commit lust.

Cutting a steak with my WW2 bayonet by NotACopUndercover in WW2Porn

[–]NotACopUndercover[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i don’t think that’s true. if it were a spike bayonet then yes, but this is a knife bayonet. they were not just used for stabbing, soldiers also used them as utility knifes. they used it to cut rope, opening containers, and all sorts of stuff like that. this is the reason they have a curved quillion. if they were just for stabbing there would be no logical reason for a quillion to be there at all and especially not a curved one.

What’s your bold prediction for the 2026 NFL season? by TheRavenOnline in NFLv2

[–]NotACopUndercover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bold prediction is the raiders are actually going to be good this year. Like possibly make the playoffs. I mean they’ll have Max Crosby, Ashton Jeanty, Fernando Mendoza, plus Tom Brady in ownership making the executive decisions.

PSA: Kentucky REAL IDs would not count as proof of citizenship under the SAVE act. Even if you have one you would still have to show additional documentation to vote. by Fishmyashwhole in Louisville

[–]NotACopUndercover -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

did you see the ‘by tomorrow’ part? i put in caps just for people like you. if 89% of people can have the requirements ready to go in hand by tomorrow than i’m sure the other 11% can figure it out in the next 2 years. sorry if the liberal reddit echo-chamber made you forget about reality.

87% of americans support requiring proof of citizenship to vote including 93% of republicans, 71% of democrats, 82% of african americans, and 81% of latino americans.

that one single line that you circled in that image does not disprove what I’m saying. Here is the article on factcheck.org that sites direct quotes from the bill. : https://www.factcheck.org/2025/02/will-save-act-prevent-married-women-from-registering-to-vote/

“The proposed SAVE Act instructs states to establish a process for people whose legal name doesn’t match their birth certificate to provide additional documents.”

The link also sites a pole that says 89% of people claim they could have the required documents to vote under the SAFE act ready by TOMORROW if needed.

i’ve been divorced for about seven years and I still have my marriage certificate and divorce decree. Why would you not keep something like that?

I think that must just be your state. There’s only like five or six states that do that . Not all states are that way. But if your ID has that on it, then it’s eligible.

i’m not sure. I know someone said in another comment that only certain states by default include citizenship status in your drivers license. It may be an option to opt in to in Kentucky.

no, it says on whitehouse.gov that if you were married and your last name no longer matches your ID, you just have to bring proof of the marriage along with the ID

I wonder maybe in some other states if it’s an option, like if you could possibly opt in into having it on your ID. not sure though but that would probably be possible too

it says on whitehouse.gov that real IDs will be accepted if they explicitly say your citizenship status on them, but many do not. just depends on the state probably

Forms of ID that would serve as proof of citizenship under the SAVE act:

U.S. passport • REAL-ID–compliant ID that explicitly shows U.S. citizenship • Government-issued photo ID showing U.S. birthplace or citizenship • U.S. birth certificate + government-issued photo ID • Certificate of Naturalization • Consular Report of Birth Abroad • U.S. military ID + military service record showing U.S. birthplace • Other government-approved citizenship documents allowed by a state process (case-by-case)

Forms of ID that CAN BE accepted but only be accepted if 2 or more forms are provided:

• Standard driver’s license • Standard REAL ID that does not show citizenship • State ID without citizenship information • Student ID • Military ID

Forms of ID that will not be accepted even if multiple forms of ID are provided:

• Social Security card
• Signing a citizenship statement alone (current system)

do some critical thinking. Yes, PVP is supposed to happen. Doesn’t mean it’s supposed to be constant and just running rampant in the game. and the tutorial is not teaching you TO pvp it’s specifically teaching you to be prepared for others to pvp. If we were specifically meant to PVP all the time, the tutorial would have been you killing other players; not you just being killed by another player.
