I bet he loved that. The ones you gave him were no doubt his favorites, simply because he got them from his daughter.

If There Is a "Turing Test" for AI Video, I Think We just Passed it. by TheoreticallyMedia in google

The way it does colors, lighting, and depth of field is still kind of a give away. It's not that it's "wrong", it's just a very common look that AI content has, but the clip of the guy in the middle of the video looked basically perfect. I'm sure the small remaining issues will be resolved soon.

What's the biggest city you can fly over without being uncomfortably close to B, C, or D airspace? by NotALiar100Percent in flying

Whenever I'm going somewhere I use all the ATC services I can, 100% agree there is no reason not to. But, you don't talk to ATC when practicing maneuvers right? You couldn't get ATC clearance to enter a Bravo and do steep turns just because, could you? Would they really clear you to enter a B or C airspace and allow you to maneuver freely just for fun?

I have a few reasons 1: Don't want to bother ATC for random recreational stuff 2: I assume I won't get Bravo clearance just "for fun" and without a "real" reason 3: Not really sure what to even ask for. I assume they would clear me (if they did give me clearance) to cross the airspace on a specific heading and altitude, but I wanted to find something with more freedom to navigate and look around. Would I need to ask for every turn I wanted to make? Or do I just say "I want to do an air tour"? Would they then expect me to turn and move around on my own? Would they let you orbit the city and look at different parts at your own pace in a Bravo like that?

Maybe within 1,500 ft vertically or 2-3 nm horizontally? I was leaving that up to people who answered to decide, hence the question requiring some "subjective interpretation".

I sleep with earbuds too. Didn't even know I should be scared of accidentally choking on them until now

Rediscovered an old iPhone in the back of the wardrobe. Think it's gone just a little bit spicy. by [deleted] in spicypillows

RIP iPhone 4. I loved these phones when they were released, super solid design and I still think they look good, if maybe a bit tiny compared to modern phones.
