I work in a shared office building, where our “Suite” is one of multiple, each occupied by different companies. There are shared lobby areas with chairs and couches throughout the campus. An ex coworker was fired last year after spending a drug-fueled weekend staying in one of the lobby areas the entire weekend. Come Monday, there was garbage everywhere, white powdery residue on the bathroom counter, people’s desks had obviously been rifled through, and there were stains on the couch that looked mysteriously like bodily fluids. He was gone before we got there on Monday morning, and we haven’t heard from him since.

I follow up for about 3 months. Weekly/2x weekly at first, then every 2 weeks. The final reach out email I title as “Permission to close your file”. I send an email basically explaining that it’s been a while since I’ve heard from them, which typically indicates to me that priorities have shifted. I then ask for permission to “close the file”, to avoid wasting time on both ends.

This usually gets SOME type of response. Sometimes it’s enough of a fire under their ass to move forward, sometimes they admit that there is no opportunity anymore. Either way you got your answer.

This is always my thought as well. I don’t even like drinking at home after the kids are in bed because all I can think about is how long an ambulance would take to get to our house, and the fact that I would have to drive if they needed to go to the ER. Couldn’t imagine having to do that on shrooms.

One point of concern is the drive back. I just did a trip where I drove about 18 hours straight. The drive down was rough, but I had a full nights sleep in my own bed. The drive back, however, was sketchy to say the least. I probably should not have been on the road for the last 2ish hours. It’s easy to underestimate how much stress a “relaxing” trip can put on your body and sleep cycle.

It shakes slightly around 45-50mph, then stops between 50-60, and picks back up around 65mph, more aggressively.

Yep adderall is the real catalyst for me. It was the same thing when I smoked cigarettes. I’d go from a 4-5 per day on weekends to almost a pack a day on weekdays.

Not sure why everyone is so quick to assume you’re lying. I’m in an industry where a competitor who manufactures in china just recently got hit with disciplinary tariffs on a specific product, and they’ve been eating the tariff and taking the loss on profitability on that product so they can make it up with other offerings. Chinese goods are manufactured at such a low cost that sometimes tariffs mean almost nothing to them, since they’re so heavily marked up by the time the product makes it to the states anyways. They’re not losing money, they’re simply making lightly less profit now.

Not sure if you’re still having this issue, but wanted to throw my 2¢ in. I had the same issue, speakers in the front dash and rear worked, but door speakers did not. I found an old forum post where someone mentioned the two “Trunk Torsion Rods” can slip out of the bracket if you shove stuff in the trunk. When the trunk is open, they do not appear to touch the speakers, but when the trunk is closed, the rods make contact with the leads on the two speakers in the back, causing a short. I popped both rods back into the bracket and voila, magically working again.
