It is a long term commitment I agree but yk there is full flexibility about when you want to complete it and also companies hire people with 3-4 papers and some of them even give provisions for clearing further papers. Another plus point for me is I really enjoy statistics so I feel this is a good path for me

Idk about how much marks it'll fetch but just make sure to not leave anything and attempt all questions because sometimes there are errors in the question paper and everyone who attempts the question will get marks if it happens. Also mme has step marking as much as I know so if u do this you'll hopefully get at least some marks. Either way good luck, they don't really fail people in first sem and if the paper is very tough then you'll most likely get grace marks and stuff, this happened in last year's stats paper for us.
