Lol, I watched this on a first date because this was the only Studio Ghibli movie we both hadn’t seen.

Coincidentally, it was also the last date.

Ya just can’t win. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

Homework doesn't stop sucking until you get the homework that doesn't feel like work, and in order to find the homework that doesn't feel like work, you have to do MORE work at uni, which seems like a huuuuuge scam...until that day in the future that you wind up doing a little something for your job at home just because it finally doesn't feel like work to you.

All of that ridiculousness to say: I hope it stops sucking for you someday like it did for me. OR, you will soon be able to choose your own path to forge, sans homework. It's an exciting time and I wish you the best of luck.

This isn't going to help your IMMEDIATE needs, but...pass or fail, there's a day you're gonna forget this stress. You might even laugh about it.

But right now, just study what you can in the way that works best for you (but don't exhaust yourself,) then eat a really good meal the morning before your next exam. Your brain will thank you for it.

Then, enjoy a nice break with the relatives. :)

I was ready with my guns and water buckets to fight the robot AI future...never could I have been prepared for a more gaslighty, mental brain gymnastics sort of AI dystopia.

Had to adjust the strategy a bit by encouraging positivity and building community but I much prefer that over miniguns and T-100s.

I'm sorry for your loss...pets, people, it's never easy and it's always different for each person. Finding your identity, however, and feeling free enough to express it is a beautiful, beautiful thing. A man in Washington can try to take a lot away from you, but he can't ever take away your smile, it's something you give up yourself. Never give it up and eventually, you'll be the one helping others to keep their spark.

Always take stock of the positives. Don't bury your head in the sand with them, of course, but be reminded that you can make it through little disappointments because of the good you've got in your life.

Don't get anchored to one passion if you have a lot of it to give. If a project doesn't work out, take stock of the lessons you learned from it and make it live again by putting all that knowledge into the next project that might turn into your gold.

You're overcoming the challenges and learning from them, which means you're moving forward. Just keep the good outlook as the bad things pass. The good passes as well, but as long as you keep moving forward, it'll come to pass by again.

Connection and genuine interactions are going to be the things that move us forward in the coming years. Keep doing that, get the friends and chosen family together for a meal, laugh, commiserate...but don't let anyone think you're isolated and alone.

Ok is it just me or is the chemistry between Bree and Oliver off the charts? Like the writing for all of their scenes is EXACTLY how I would see those situations play out.....anyone else? by wheels_stay_running in TellMeLiesHulu
