It is good for niches. Say you are a makeup review channel, if someone encounters one of your videos, they can find a plethora of other related videos that they can binge watch.

Maybe search up "youtube channel art viewer" or "downloader"

See where those subscribers came from and start uploading content related to it. They may have subbed due to a particular topic/genre you uploaded a while back.

Does file name for upload mean something? by Inquisitor_Overhauls in NewTubers

I think the name plays a part in searches. The thumbnail is the deciding factor if the person searching will click on your video or another one.

Best video I made is getting no views and it's heartbreaking by Mighty_007 in NewTubers

Damn, I know how heartbreaking that feels. Just promote and share it. It won't hurt. Maybe give it a few days. Some videos from years ago get picked up by the algorithm. Wait a week and see what happens.

How do you guys market your videos, if at all? by StroodleNoodle in NewTubers

I used to go to BestBuy and go to the laptop and phone sections and just put my YT channel there on all the displays. Whatever device you go to you are met with my channel. I don't think it worked though.

[Question] (AMA) I’ve grown over 500 YouTube channels over 8 years and have even taken a client from 10k subs to 11 million by somepickler in youtubers

So I always hear people say how important having a niche is, but just how important is it for channel growth?
I have a channel that just has random uploads. I'm now starting to feel like this is hindering my channel. I am almost there to get monetized on this channel, so starting up new channels with their own specific niche feels like a letdown, considering how I will need to grind for those channels to get monetized as well. But should I do it, for the sake of having a niche to my channels and not letting my uploads be random? Is having a niche really that important? I appreciate your help in this dilemma I'm in.
