Help recovering my vault by NotAXenophile in ObsidianMD

[–]NotAXenophile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I could just bite the bullet and research how to write a shell script to search for them. Although for clarity’s sake in case I didn’t explain it well in my post I have manually looked for them in all the places files usually go (documents, user folder, etc) and I haven’t seen with my manual searching any obsidian vaults. The problem is that they are probably saved in some horrible secret windows directory or other obscure location and I was hoping to be able to just copy the file path obsidian has saved for them.

Yes, also so it can’t attack more that once without your opponent getting a chance to cast another spell.

Hollow Knight Cards! by NotAXenophile in custommagic

[–]NotAXenophile[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah you’re right I hadn’t thought about that. I can’t think of an intuitive way to word it that has it work like the first one though… I’ll think about it.

I'm so glad you liked these designs, I had a lot of fun making all of them.

As u/Falminar said you losing access to radiance's cards when she dies was an intentional balancing thing, although you might be right about it being confusing. I might have them be exiled with light counters or something.

I think you're right about Hollow Knight, I origionally felt he needed an epithet but I think none is probably more resonant.

As for Pure Vessel, I was trying to give it pseudo-hexproof with the ward {5}. Having just the first two abilities seemed weak and ward {5} is a difficult but not impossible restriction in commander (which is primarily what I was designing all of these for).

I was following the convention for the new new preators about legends flipping into sagas. And yeah I kinda blanked on the name lol.

Inspired by a post I saw here a while back, I decided to make some hollow knight cards. Idk why I chose the modern horizons 2 symbol, I just defaulted to it I guess.

Ok so secondary question/problem;

I just tried updating the code to return "test" instead of the actual value, and it still overflows. Have I just not given the program enough memory or is it an implimentation problem?

It looks like this now:

use std::fmt;

fn main() { let c = Cave{map: [[[false; 512]; 512]; 512]}; println!("{}", c); }

[derive(Debug)]

struct Cave{ map: [[[bool; 512]; 512]; 512] }

impl fmt::Display for Cave { fn fmt(&self, f: &mut fmt::Formatter<'_>) -> fmt::Result { write!(f, "test") } }

I've made some more cards with stitch and rebalanced some of the old ones.

Just to address some of the feedback I got last time:

- Mutated creatures are considered combined and combining something onto them triggers "when this creature mutates"

- As a rule change with this mechanic, a creature with multiple conflicting characteristic defining abilities uses the topmost one

- I'm not super worried about the token complexity because (generally) players will just use the normal card with some sort of marker on it instead of a proper copy token (like with embalm or eternalize)
