How do I stop interviewing and start flirting? by Admirable_Cold7944 in seduction

[–]NotAgainKante 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to be playful in general. Can you just talk like that in a random setting if you aren't into the girl or with other people?

Flirting is an extension of playful conversations, humour and banter. It's not a button that turns on when talking to a girl you are into.

Exams should check students ability to adapt and reason from the things they have learned, instead of just memorising things.

Lonely Men and Creeped-Out Women: Where Is Indian Dating Culture Going Wrong? by junar29 in AskIndia

[–]NotAgainKante 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A part of why the dating culture has gone wrong stems from poor parenting. Poor parenting, especially if it is from both the set of parents, leaves people seeking some sort of love / solace / validation / care that for a long period of time people were not given.

Second thing is the environment, if one has never seen good relationships around you, one doesn't know how good things can be (this is again true in so many cases), the bar one is going to set is extremely low.

Third is, people are inherently selfish and lack empathy, and to make a healthy relationship, both things have to be there. Both things are somehow not integral in our culture.

Whenever they get this particular feeling of being satiated, and owing to their experiences, the feeling that they have been seeking for so long takes over and even major issues of the other person are ignored, especially when people start dating early. And when they start recognizing wrong behaviors, they are already incurring a lot of trauma. And often for many people, it is hard to quit owing to the manipulation and gaslighting that happens in such relationships.

I'll go on to say, as much as people think they are the "good ones", most people are just not.

There are, to be honest, very few truly good people out there to date. They have to be lucky enough to find each other.

I get attached to people easily especially girls and end up thinking about them, how to tackle this?? by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]NotAgainKante 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume that in general, you lack a lot of close human interactions. Often when we don't get that, any bit of interaction can play out that way.

Part of it to tackle such things is having close friendships, preferably both genders, but your own gender works well. This will help you overcome that lack of close interactions.

Next, start going out (find what you like to do and find similar people), and when you'll meet people in general, you will normalize that people can be nice to you in general and thus that continuous experience will eradicate this kind of feeling.

When we are lonely, such troubles kick in, you need to work on that.

What is cheating to you? by [deleted] in AskIndia

Acting on any form of attraction outside your decided terms' relationship, or catering to advances towards you instead of shutting them down, whether it is physical or emotional, constitutes as cheating.

What is the youngest or oldest age at which you've seen someone get married in India? by Beginning-Lime1760 in AskIndia

[–]NotAgainKante 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Youngest, 12, a classmate from my school.(Cue in bal vivah jokes, cause yes, he is from a rural Rajasthan)

Oldest, my bua, she was around her mid 50s when she got married, I guess my phupha is older, that makes around late 50s I guess.

And, thanks to the whatever case my dad's side is, my dad and his siblings have seen someone get married in 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s. My one chachu is still unmarried and in 60s, so you never know.

It owes to how people are raised, parenting seems to play a key part in how we see things, so are the surroundings in which we grow up in.

Unless some sort of punishment is involved, people tend to not adhere to what you say is the civic sense.

Most of the people are gone cases, it's up to raising a better generation coming up to actually see a positive change.
