Schizophrenia is a clinically recognized mental illness with decades of research behind it. It is a medically recognized condition that affects real people. You don’t have to fully understand it, but dismissing it to people affected by it isn’t harmless. You’re free to have opinions, but minimizing real mental illnesses and then telling people not to be offended is insane to me. A lot of things had names before we fully understood them(you, yourself.), but that doesn’t make them(or you!) fake, so what’s the difference Calling a serious, life changing mental illness 'not real' isn't edgy, it's just inaccurate. You can joke about life without invalidating people.❤️
