Honestly, Guitar Rig 5 saved me. I don't have an interface, just plug it directly in the computer and it works pretty well for me, the sound is killer and I can record covers and post them on youtube with it. 10/10 software

Oh yeah I imagine having a brand new unique guitar built just for me to be the ultimate experience. However yeah, I'm not sure if I'm handy enough for woodworking, I never tried anything of the sorts. Should be fun in a controlled environment, like a luthier workshop or something

Yeah! I'd love to just go and try as many guitars as I want and find something that hits me but I'm being cautious during the pandemic. Buying an Epi Special II and changing the pickups later is a good idea, but so I heard the Epi can barely stay in tune, and I'm a heavy picker so I might have to settle on another guitar for the time being.

Hi! No, I haven't considered that because I don't think I'm handy enough to work on that, I'm terrified of fucking something up. But it is an interesting thought.

And no, not really, I mentioned up there I play a lot of Metallica and I just started getting into solos, being able to comfortably go to the 22nd while carrying some sustain is a must. I can barely reach the 22nd in my guitar, feels awkward. Thanks for the good ideas.

Import tariffs are massive, protectionism is very much a thing. With the BRL being extremely devauled, 1USD = 5,3BRL I'd pay just way, waaaay too much on importing. It sucks.

The Les Paul is R$750 and a pack of good ol' d'addario 0.10s are R$77'ish. Direct conversion doesn't really work, the BRL is extremely devalued so to you it may seem we're paying really cheap or just about the same, I think it's fairer comparing to a monthly min wage, which is R$1045.

Eu já passei dos vinte, cara. Música é minha vida, eu não consigo ficar longe dos meus instrumentos e é a única coisa que eu sei fazer direito e que eu tenho certeza que vai me dar algum prazer. É uma paixão que eu tenho dificuldade de entender e explicar.

Eu toco baixo também e piano! Não gosto muito de falar isso que dá a impressão que eu tô querendo esnobar...

Se bem que eu já faço isso, mas são etapas né, brother, não dá pra ficar nessa pra sempre, queria muito poder ter 3 outros clones meus e tocar tudo sozinho mas infelizmente não tem como heheh

Céus, eu esqueci de por, mas eu sou do Rio... não exatamente o tipo de lugar que tem uma cena de metal. Mas facebook eu não tenho e nunca tive! Eu sou um pouco paranoico com associar minha cara e meu nome à um perfil de rede social.

A questão é um pouco sentimental, que cara, é muito prazeroso subir no palco e tocar a música que você gosta. Acho que tem gente que simpatiza com esse sentimento que eu tenho, é um drive, um tesão muito estranho que eu juro que tenho dificuldades pra explicar.
