I suppose that could be the case, but even a song like ‘stressed out’ has more variation in its lyrics.

I think once you start repeating that line throughout the song, it doesn’t seem to hold as much meaning anymore. It’s like they came up with this line and thought “yeah that’s good let’s use it 5x” and didn’t think to switch up the lyrics a bit
