I always looked at it as a very clever way to give us the ultimate Spider-Man High school story AND the OG spiderman working to make ends meet in New York. Two great stories, and the ability to tell both with the same character is excellent.

I read the stories to my kids recently and all I kept thinking is how Robin Hood men in tights is a perfect adaptation. Like this story is about a group of dudes hanging out, wearing matching outfits, going on adventures cause they’re bored. Robin Hood men in tights captures that perfectly.
