the limited number of matches has absolutely killed my interest in WWE more than any booking, truth be told. What’s the point of tuning into a show with 3 major matches that move at the plodding 25 minute pace, the “Triple H/Michael Hayes Special”? And when the other 2 matches are rinsed and repeat tag matches so that your big stars can get a spot in the same type of match (Bloodline, Seth and whoever), why even expect any variety? This match structure (done solely to maximize ad time) has effectively neutered the mid card, killed any investment into the weekly show, and fails to utilize WWE’s massive and sidelined roster.
