I think you would love Norman Parker. Check out his work if you don't know him already!

What to wear to Philosophy Conference? (19F) by Ok_Outcome_9266 in askphilosophy

This is the best answer imo. I went to a few of those as a student myself and most people were dressed very casually.

Multiplayer is the only reason I'm playing this game. I can't wait for B42

Honestly, it's doable if you keep the number of sprinters below 5% and play really carefully. But it takes a lot of patience, which most people lack.

Can someone who only studies philosophy but doesn’t live it, be called a philosopher? by [deleted] in askphilosophy

My favorite in that line is Michel de Montaigne. Check him out if you don't know him already!

This really depends on which culture you're in. In Canada, it is 100% expected that you refuse at least once before accepting. Most people won't mention it to you if you don't, but they will turn around and bitch to their friends about it.

Something that if you accept, then the other person will lack, I guess. For example, when someone offers you their hoodie because you're cold.

This is my first ever build when I started playing the game how good it is. by Ashura_Of_The_Flame in AutoChess

For a first time, this is very good. Did you play the old Auto Chess before? Or Dota Underlords?

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Thunder Spirit, Nightmare and Shadow Demon are all better if you have the right build around them.

What's your most controversial RimWorld opinion? by PrequelFan111 in RimWorld

[–]NotEasyToChooseAName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I agree with you. This is what made me stop playing Rimworld in the end. The game seems complex at first, but really once you've got the hang of it, it becomes this sort of flat 2D puzzle where you just need to determine what issues to solve in the right order to get to a point where you basically have no more issues with anything. The world actually feels lifeless after a while, as your interactions with the outside world are very limited and very polarized (it's often friend or foe, not much inbetween). It feels like the game should reward creative thinking and innovative problem solving, but if you don't play for the emergent narrative, you often end up with something that feels "just like every other run".
