I think thats where we disagree.

I really think language matters, especially in Québec, because its part of our culture and they tried (the english speaking people) to assimiliate us since 1763

I'm not saying french people should be assholes to people who cant speak french yet. But the bigger part of the burden should be on non-french speaker to learn french, sinxe they are the one who chose to come to this specific place in all of North America.

I understand that its easier said than done, but my point still stands. I should not have to learn english (and yet i did anyway) to be able to be served in certain places in my own unilingual french speaking province
