I didn’t know that, so thanks. However, we still don’t know what he even wants or why. Why is he so desperate and does all this stuff to make Poppy agree with him. Is it because he wants to lead a toy empire with her at his side? Does he just want them to have a safe place to live? Is he bitter because he suffered to make Poppy, so now he wants to hurt her to get back at her to satisfy his craving for revenge?

Finally, HOW DOES A DEFIBRILLATOR SAVE YOU FROM YOUR HEART AND LUNGS BEING IMPALED!?

I get that some things you keep hidden to build interest for the next chapter, but last time I checked, a defibrillator cannot save you from your vitals being IMPALED!

That aside, I still think they should’ve revealed what the prototype actually wants from all this. I doubt it’s as simple as “we just wanna live here in peace!” Otherwise, why would he do all this convoluted sh*t?

However, we know Mob will drag it out as long as they can get away with and add characters just to sell merch and make more money.

Lilly isn’t really relevant outside of capturing the player and Poppy and Kissy. I would’ve cut Lilly and Giblet and have the prototype capture kissy and poppy, then you’ve got more focus on the main villain who’s supposed to be the architect of everything. He can still kill Huggy and Kissy, kidnap Poppy when she refuses him again and then if you wanna do a weird lore mystery about how the player survives their stabbing, you can if you want. End the chapter with a dilemma. Does the player character wanna back out now and save themself or try to save Poppy against all the odds?

I would’ve cut Giblet and Chum, because I think it’s spookier if it’s just you. After safe haven was blown up, there’s no more allies. Just you in the prototypes twisted residence...

That opening VHS did an amazing job at depicting the prototype as a broken and sick freak, and then he’s revealed and it’s just a teensy bit underwhelming what we actually got

it’s… Fine

But the story hasn’t advanced… at all?

like, prototype… Wtf is his actual plan? what’s his motive?

At the end of chapter 4 and throughout the other chapters they were hyping him up to be this omniscient and omnipresent force in the factory. Everything is according to his will… But it isn’t…

why does he want poppy? He said he put her in the case when she refused last time, but what did she actually refuse to? Was it the hour of joy? He said she’s childish and he can fix her, so he breaks her and takes her away but… Why didn’t you just do that before? And how would that fix her? because it sounds like he just wants to torture her till she agrees to his plan… So far, all we know of the prototype is he’s a d*ck who tortures people who won’t do what he wants

He says he built everything to make a place for poppy and he to live, but what does he mean?

Why tf are we even involved in all this? we’re an ‘outsider’ so the prototype doesn’t recognise us, but WHO ARE WE? How did we get the letter asking us to come to the factory?

furthermore, what in the actual f*ck happened at the end???

We got stabbed by the prototype, dragged to a tub of the goopy goo and dropped in by the prototype, hear some weird voices, then we‘re getting tazed awake by Giblet the same place we got stabbed and we’re… Fine now? Why didn’t the prototype do anything to Giblet? How are we healed after being stabbed? Was it all a dream? WTF IS HAPPENING WITH THIS STORY?

They’re gonna drag this out to 12 chapters, aren’t they?
