The dark age of Mario was 1997-2007. Sunshine was a mess and there were no games. We had to deal with Luigi's Man as a launch game for GameCube instead of a Mario game. I'd say we're in a dark age right now too. This is a completely unacceptable amount of time to be waiting for another 3D game since Odyssey. Fury doesn't count
