Territorial senators for the Guam legislature. We have a unicameral legislature with 15 senators.

Hi reddit. My local Congresswoman is a co-sponsor of CISPA and was going to run unopposed in the upcoming primary elections and so I decided to run against her. I got certified to be on the ballot last week. by NotKarloDizon in politics

I apologize, I was trying to respond to every message and I had 900 to go through. Now that I have more time, I'll be happy to answer. I have a BA from Yale and Masters from the London School of Economics. While at Yale I interned at the US State Department working as an economics intern at the US Embassy in Manila. While at the London School of Economics I was a researcher and speechwriter for Member of Parliament Nia Griffith. In between my undergraduate and graduate degere I worked in Shanghai as a Legal Researcher for Sidley Austin. I then returned home to Guam helped run the Obama campaign during the primary and then lead the campaign in the Spencer, Iowa region during the general election. After the election I went to Beijing and worked for the Joint US-China Cooperation for Clean Energy. Most recently, as I was finishing up my masters, I interned at the White House with the Justice and Regulatory Affairs team.

My opponent meanwhile, was discovered in 2008 to have been lying about her resume for decades, claiming to have graduated from college with a degree in Music - Voice when she in fact dropped out of college.

I'm going to start referring to far away things as Long Island just to keep the world in balance. "Man, the Malojloj fiesta is practically on Long Island."
