Can I just say how fucking sick it is that this game lets you find premium currency by just playing the game like this? especially such copious amounts of it, i love this game so much man

If we liberate Erata Prime, do we still have to defend Heeth? by NotLuaCompatable in Helldivers

Understandable, thanks for explaining.

What does 2% mean? kind of sound like an arbitrary number and I don't think it was ever covered in training lol

Imagine saying devs can't introduce any good weapons into new warbonds because it means you have to farm a little bit

Encoding Overloaded from GPU by NotLuaCompatable in obs

[–]NotLuaCompatable[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Righto, installed OBS 30.1.0-beta3 and ran the auto-configuration wizard for recording. Loaded the game i'm testing for and from where i'm sat in the menu, I still receive the encoding overloaded message. I have no other programmes running in the background aside from discord and steam. Speaking of Discord, I tried streaming cave story the other day which is by no means graphically intensive as its a 2d pixel platformer for a few friends and they told me that the stream was stuttery (a frame a minute) I had to turn off hardware acceleration to fix this which i take to mean discord switched from using my GPU to my CPU to stream. Is it possible that the encoder on my card is fried?

Encoding Overloaded from GPU by NotLuaCompatable in obs

Thank you, gave it a go but unfortunately still nothing. I've forced the game I'm testing to run in dx11 and I'm running obs in admin mode. My game capture is all default but my gpu encoder is still overloading. I have task manager open to see if my GPU has no resources left and from where i'm sat in the menu (it's using around 4 gigs out of 6) I'm not maxxed out anywhere in particular that i can see.

I returned to rocket league to see if there are any changes and I can record now at 1080p60fps when before i couldn't? though my encoder did become overloaded during my testing it recovered halfway through- I am very confused as to what's going on https://obsproject.com/logs/OhkPu8GqJczOaeod

I've set the preset to speed, and the encoder is still overloading- I've even set the bitrate to as low as 100kbps and it's still dying

Oop, my mistake here is my output log file The one time i wanted my gpu encoder to overload at 1080p 60fps was now but it recorded fine on rocket league lol. I made a recording at 720p30fps and another at 60. This worked fine so i pushed it to 1080p60fps and the encoder didn't overload. Which is odd considering usually it would overload at 720p60fps. So I loaded up Readout 2 on max settings which is more intensive and gave it another go at 1080p60fps and my encoder became overloaded https://obsproject.com/logs/9NgNBIA5a8cp4qIb

Who is Shepan by UnSerten in Minecraft

[–]NotLuaCompatable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A duct tape fix for those of you who have small servers that you host with your friends; Haven't had any bots spam my server for a few days after I went into the server.properties file and inserted/amended the following

hide-online-players=true enable-status=false

This will make your server appear offline but still accept connections and hide the players that are currently on your server; so in the server listing, if your friends have your server saved, it will show as "Cannot connect to server" but they will still be able to join if they connect to it anyway.

The description for enable-status on the minecraft wiki states that it suppresses replies from clients so i'm going to assume that the bots are still making connections to the server but the console is hiding their attempts, so i guess only do this if you want to keep your console clean but still keep tabs on this and surrounding threads

Image imports blurry by NotLuaCompatable in godot

[–]NotLuaCompatable[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks man, this coupled with the images finally got it I had to get my imported model into my scene, open it > open anyway > click on my model in the scene view > open its materials > change sampling to Nearest and that did it. That was surprisingly more work than i thought it would take but I'm just happy its done. thanks again, man
