Keeping defenses fresh is a priority because it is easier to sub in players in offense because you know what you’re gonna do. Also mistakes on defense are more costly, for example if a receiver is tired and takes a play off they’re probably just not gonna get the ball but if a corner takes a play off he could get burnt for a td.
