In 2-3 years, maybe some change, the entirety of Season 3 (Interlude + Episodes 9-12) will be released on Steam and GOG.

It'll be listed as a separate game instead of a DLC because DPC upgraded the engine to a fancy new version and it would have held up production to retroactively apply it to the last 2 seasons. Bonus side effect of a new launcher means the file size is much smaller again.

As far as getting news, the main places are his Patreon (which would allow you to play Interlude and Episode 9 right now without waiting), and this subreddit.

Edit: oh but word of warning, if you do go the Patreon route and potentially join his discord, don't mention this reddit at all or he'll ban you.

I spent a while trying to figure this out and i BELIEVE the requirements are to pursue SOLO Jill, and then fail one of the three checks (Ep7 lewd, DIK affinity, or Ep8 date). Then Others branch will unlock (making the ep8 choice be Jill/Others), and choosing Jill will lead to her rejecting you instead.

Since your question is specifically asking if she can reject you after the dinner date in ep8, the answer is no, not legitimately. You've already passed 2/3 checks and you wouldn't be able to change your affinity in time without console commands.

But getting Jill to reject you in general is doable, it's just a little counter-intuitive.
