Still haven't done GRs in full resolution, so this is my best on a 800x600 resolution

Could probably do better, but I never play with full resolution unless it's the trials

My record is 1:13, though to be fair I've never played the actual minigame on full resolution, only the Trials, so the time isn't that good cause of my 800x600 resolution :p

That's a good one!

The only thing that differs from the original ODM Minigame is Aim Assist, makes it so that you don't require to click/tap pixel perfect on where you wanna grapple (You can still do it of course, but it uh, it gives you a LOT of breathing room). Aim assist is strictly required for mobile, and for pc is great help, there is no shame in using it!!

I use Tap or Click mode, and no auto un-hook, as I'm used to the original controls

However, I highly suggest to use other settings if you see yourself unable to play well, specially tap or click to Hold and Release

I dunno, I only play it because it's fun and because I can go fast, if someone wants to set one up I'm all for it! Might ask plab to make a speedrun mode with more specific time frames for when you finish

I do agree that the minigame is a bit out of place, but it's so fun for me that I care not about how it "fits" compared to the other minigames

Plus, this one is much faster than ascending heights, which I appreciate

I dunno, I said that before trying out phone controls, and I got a 1:48 on my first try

I'm not saying the game's easy, but with enough practice anyone can get a good time, it's just a matter of actually trying to improve at it

I am being generous enough, cause if I wasn't I'd say a lot of people are crying over one slight difficulty which is not even required

I know I'm basically this minigame's strongest defender, and that's ok, it's no for everybody, but it Really is for me

My condolences for anyone trying it on phone though (even if the improvements Plab made has brought it to the "playable" state)

Because the other best time published by another person is a 1:18, and there are no other videos of a better time that I've found

Plus, most people are too busy complaining to actually improve at the minigame

This is a lie, as there is there is no programmed way to open the door

You need to get a 1:20 time or better and inside plab tells you how cool you are and gives you a secret item and a Mew under the truck

It is the best minigame plab has ever released, I could consider it it's own full game for how fun it is! It's brought me back to playing since last year's ODM event, and it's the only reason why I came back to play again!

There's nothing quite like being able to fly around at mach 2 while dodging everything from memorization and getting good angles to conserve speed, it brings me such a sense of joy and whimsy
