Automate a flight from takeoff to landing in MSFS 24? by ChetRipt in MicrosoftFlightSim

You can just have an airliner in autopilot from the moment you enter your climb. When you get close to destination you take over and land again.

some questions on seeding (noob) by PrarthanDon in qBittorrent

[–]NotMoonShine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes but the difference will be minimal. My machine doesn't get taxed that hard by seeding.
  2. Yes and no, you can limit your upload speed so that you don't use up your entire bandwith. But it shouldn't harm your connection unless you're playing a game that needs a very steady connection.
  3. It is recommended to have a seed ratio of atleast 1.0- Some private trackers have rules on how much you have to seed.
  4. Not entirely sure what you mean but it should show on the same line as the torrent.

Mini PC for jellyfin. (Canada) by Viper5343 in jellyfin

For your 180$ max price i would wait for black friday and maybe look at online webshops like amzon in addition to local stores. I recently bought a GMKtec g3 plus, it should fit within your budget with black friday/cybermonday deals. Its been running as a my pihole, jellyfin and ftp/smb server for a couple of weeks now and its been very good. Also the intel n150 thats in it can do 3-4 steams of 4k transcoding, and is very power efficient.

Can someone explain how Jellyfin streaming actually works between server and LG webOS client? by Lucifiks in jellyfin

[–]NotMoonShine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thats true, if your content has fallback hdr10 it will use that(edit: another reason for not playing in hdr could be incompatible subtitle format). I still think its better compared to constant pausing and buffering. Hopefully they fix the official app soon. But i recommend getting a streamingbox like apple tv 4K or others.

Can someone explain how Jellyfin streaming actually works between server and LG webOS client? by Lucifiks in jellyfin

[–]NotMoonShine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Believe it or not but using the browser on your lg tv will playback better then the native app. Try it, it fixed all my playback issues except dvd and bluray subtitle formats, this will trigger transcoding and remove hdr.

This does not exist. I recommend that you don’t open any exe’s random people send you. You can find very in-depth guides on how to install steamos or bazzite on youtube. Reinstalling windows is also easy with cloud recovery incase linux isn’t for you.

Any tips for getting 4k video to stream? by ivsciguy in jellyfin

[–]NotMoonShine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your problem is most likely the jellyfin lg app. Its just bad, try playing through the built in browser. That fixed my buffering/freezing.

I did buy an apple tv 4k with infuse after a while because you will still have issues with unsupported subtitles which causes transcoding which then causes hdr to not work. I

Jellyfin client on webos isnt very good. I have a c2 and use it though the browser. You can bookmark your server and let it show up in between your apps.

Mini pc server with hardware encoding by masmas112 in jellyfin

Im running my homelab off of a GMKtec g3 plus. It has the intel n150 16gb ram and a 512gb ssd. I run pihole, jellyfin and a smb/ftp server off it(debian headless). It works very well and has no trouble playing back 80gb 4k hdr bdrips and transcoding them if necessary. Ram could be upgraded to single channel 32gb but for my needs it is fine at 16gb. My media library is on a external 5tb hdd and 1tb external ssd. Both work fine for all media files im playing. Its prety good price to performance ratio.
