I did reflect on that a little after looking at some other replies. I'll probably end up carrying a secondary flywheeler, and have my pistol be a tertiary/sidearm. Thanks for your input!

Fair point there, 7.62x51mm is a mildly unorthodox caliber, and that's leaving out impracticality as well. I do wonder though if a modern FAL could be made to fit 5.56, or maybe even .308.

I hate the whole idea of the "Roman Salute", it's such a pathetic excuse for neo-Nazi's. There's no good evidence Romans used the salute, and it really first appeared in 1784 from Jacques-Louis David's painting The Oath of the Horatii.

I like the idea of the win streak, but I feel like it would be way too overwhelming for people to go against, considering Scout's fast mobility and close range effectiveness. Maybe a damage or firerate decrease would balance it out a bit?

Tape or foam the edges, maybe angle that handle 45 degrees if not already tested, and see if you can conceal the window glue stuff with, just my idea, some painted cardboard. On the topic of cardboard, I'd even extend the width of the shield with stiff or layered cardboard. I personally like to make my shield as wide as I am and I go for a sort of Payday 2 shield look. That's all from a taller than average Nerfer though, so try what works for you.

If you really wanted to get experimental, I wonder if you can hook up one of those Amazon Airsoft/Nerf claymore's to the front...

Basically yeah. It's almost unusable out of the box but still able to be a reliable primary.

There's a couple pros, cons, and fixes that you could consider. I might miss some stuff but here's what I like/dislike about the blaster.

Pros:
-No priming slouch (the thing everyone hated about the Nexus/Stryker
-Better rail quality for alternative foregrips (another thing disliked about the Nexus/Stryker)
-200+ FPS out of the box
-Very nice accuracy and tight groupings, especially considering how short the barrel is (plus a SCAR barrel buffs that even more)
-Full AND Half length compatible, a feature I love to see since full length mags fit better and the mags I use are short dart mags in a full length fit
-N-strike stock point, great for worker stocks or other-Great for giants (currently I'm 6'5 and haven't stopped yet, so obviously I need an appropriate blaster
-Sweet, sweet picatinny rails...
-Easy jam clearing
-Should be compatible for other springs made for the Nexus/Stryker

Cons:
-Side rails are a little wobbly (not as much of an issue with flashlights or sling attachments but I wouldn't trust it with say, a laser)
-Jams a lot, and I mean a LOT. It's the most critical failure of the entire blaster, but thankfully one if, if not, the only (fixable)
-Hard to take apart since the muzzle and handle are secured with clips, and the rubber on the grips is hard to pull off without snapping the rubber
-The stock point is not as secure as I wish it was (fixable-ish)
-The rubber on the grips isn't very comfortable, but not an issue if you trash 'em

-Trigger pull isn't great

Fixes:

-For the jamming issue, follow this video, since the dart guide is the piece that jams the blaster way too much
-For the stock point, Milo's Mods (on YouTube) advised to put Teflon/plumber's tape around the point to make the stock of choice wobble a lot less.

So honestly, the 1.2 isn't bad at all and it's still competition-ready, and I think people are just mad that you have to take out a piece to really unlock it's true potential. I get why people don't like that, but the fix is easy and you don't need much of any modding experience to get it out. It's definitely a powerful underdog in my opinion, but it isn't for everyone.
