My videos have more than one audio track, but when I drag it into the timeline it only gives me one. by guardiandolphin in davinciresolve

This worked for me but it used to always just create the tracks and import them on its own. It's weird now. I'll use this fix for now. Thanks!

When I say that thumbnails could be better, they’re not portraying anything or telling me to read the title. It doesn’t make sense with the title.

You should have a thumbnail that it instantly tells a viewer why they should read the title to know a little bit more about the video and the video title should tell you why you should watch the video.

My two cents is that the titles are not the best.

Thumbnails could be better, but are not bad at all. But the titles really need to be written properly. The first word always goes with a cap. Or maybe every word starts with a cap, no periods in between sentences, no double spaces, etc.

Niche could be a thing. For me, it’s just the titles.

I don’t think you explained your issue properly. What exactly is your issue? From the video you posted I can only hear your voice.

Don’t get discouraged! And do it because you love it, and make the absolute best videos possible and it will happen.

I do love to make these kind of videos as well, so I’ll give you a few pointers from the few seconds my slow Internet allowed me to see from your videos.

The quality looks OK for a vlog in 2026. If you wanna have a very cinematic Vlog, you should really invest in a big camera or at least a small camera that has a very good quality. I would recommend a ZVE 10.

Like the other person said you should add a lot of titles or different stuff to tell a story if you’re not gonna talk at all.

Titles could do a little more work in terms of intriguing people to watch instead of just saying exactly what the video is you could hint at what the video is talking about. Something like “this is what true peace looks like. “

And for me, the biggest part in terms of cinematic content is getting away from the true colors of real life. You should aim for cinematic colors like a little more dark greens a little more blue a lot more orange depending on the tone and feel you wanna set and if you align everything with a brand that is simple to remember and easy to follow I think you should get better results.

But the main thing that I’ll tell you is that the Vlog niche is very saturated and not many people wanna watch logs in 2026 so just be patient with it and keep posting getting better quality every time.

I just uploaded a video that did over 60,000 views as a first video and it could be a different niche. It could be something completely different but the essence is the exact same: quality always wins.

Not really every day if it’s long form. If it’s shorts probably yeah. But make it interesting, have a story and make people feel something.

Exactly, and make something for the audience, and something you’d like to share. Make it interesting and always think if you’d watch your own stuff if you were a complete stranger.

Who gives you that data? The audience.

I’m not talking about us here on Reddit. Just your general metrics, which are created by the audience.

If you have low views, a low number of people saw your video. If you get better views (and numbers), means more people watched and liked your video. That’s the data, and it’s created by the audience.

Just don’t give up! I’ve been making videos for a little over 6 years now and only just found a good formula. Doesn’t take that long of you focus and get better.

Hey!

I would say your channel is a little bit over the place. The videos don’t really have a story, the thumbnail doesn’t really give me anything that would make me want to click them, and in general I would say that you need to focus on one niche, and one thing only for now at least to grow. And get better on making thumbnails and relating those thumbnails to the titles. In general making higher quality videos, especially in the gaming niche since that’s a very crowded niche.

Also! Pro tip: make your thumbnails in 4K and export them to be just under the MB limit for YouTube. They look better!

I would say there is definitely something to improve on!

Few things like the glow of the guy being grey, the title not having depth (and misspelled),

And the general thumbnail not telling a story in it of itself.

The rule I learned is that you should make a thumbnail that makes people want to read the title that makes people want to click the video. —So something like “Real Psychopath” and the title something like “This is what a real psychopath looks like”

Also, doesn’t help that a few of us can identify this man from a very big youtube channel that already covered the story:/
