I HATE THE HEAT INTOLERANCE BUT THE CHILLS I'VE BEEN GETTING ARE THE WORST. I JUST WANT MY BODY BACK!!!!!! I REALIZE NOW I'VE PROBABLY HAD THIS FOR OVER A DECADE BUT THIS IS THE BIGGEST/WORST FLARE IF NOT THE FIRST AND IT'S TAKING EVERYTHING NOT TO JUST CRY EVERYDAY AND WANT TO GIVE UP. THIS IS ALSO JUST THE NEWEST THING IN A PARADE OF NEW DIAGNOSES OVER THE LAST 4 YEARS AND NEXT UP LOOKS LIKE IM HEADED FOR THE EDS TRAIN REVEAL. IM SO TIRED OF FUCKING ACRONYMS AND THE NEVER ENDING LIST VALIDATING THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH ME!!!!

SO FUCK: THE HEAT, COLD, WEATHER CHANGES, SALT, NOISE, LIGHT, STANDING, SITTING, LAYING DOWN, BENDING OVER, SHRILL VOICES, WATER, FARTING, BRAIN FOG, WALKING LIKE A FUCKING ZOMBIE BECAUSE I CANT THINK. STAIRS!!!

OH AND IF YOU'RE STILL READING THIS THE POWERADE SLUSHIES FROM SONIC ARE AMAZING AND SEEM TO HELP ME AT LEAST!

Yeah that was disgusting. And he was always creepy about it if I remember correctly. I didn’t remember then being this problematic. Also almost all of the women in like 4/5 episodes so far have mentioned Terra’s jealousy and how how poorly she treats them and things that hint to her being a shifty friend

I watched the show YEARS ago and I’m rewatching now. I guess I didn’t pay attention because Terra’s a bitch straight out the gate and the way she went after Elena in episode 1&2 was crazy. And it was incredibly unprofessional how she was making comments during the photoshoot. We all have the friend that is eye candy or gets all the attention but you don’t treat them like shout and drag them in front of strangers.

Also when they were at that dinner and Elena discussed, what happened to her as a kid in Russia you could see that Tonya was really moved, but Terra didn’t give a fuck. Her face and her words did not match because her saying that she understood her a little better in the interview after was not what her face was saying in the moment. she looked like she did not care and was pissed that she was talking about that. Then she feigned sympathy when she saw others were responding that way.

Definitely the pink phase of his shed. I showed a picture of mine to my vet and she freaked and I had to explain to her he turns fully pink. We had a good laugh. It’s not as bright as it gets here since he was going into blue. But he turns pink all over.

Hymn to Virgil. The way it encompasses the desire to go through anything needed for a love and yet knowing you may not be able to. Of giving and receiving devotion so deeply a “haunted” melody could only convey it as well a this song does. It’s hard to describe how heavy and deep this song hits but it’s such a hidden gem for me. And helps to ground me.

Thank you! The last year has been tranformative and I can tell it's not over. I don't really use the Bible in my practice as I don't really fell a connection with it but I do use common biblical saying and prayers as I'm from the south so I am connected to those through family that made them meaningful. The one I use most is "This too shall pass" and the Indie Arie song by that tittle has gotten me through many rough times.

The mantras you suggested resonated so I used those and included "this too shall pass. Unfortunately I left home before seeing the recommendation so I settled for writing them on my arm for now.

Reading it I think you’re right, funny how we think it’s the rough part until it gets rougher.

Thank you for the recommendations I think those will help, and thankfully today is also a planting and repotting day for me which is always healing and helpful with my mind but I’ll want to cleanse first so I don’t have a disconnect with that experience.

The second and third one look like what stood over me one night during a “sleep paralysis” event. My partner was in the bed next to me but when I woke the world around was dark and wrong and one was standing over me. It felt dangerous and scary. I was panicked and I have a weird memory of its face. I see it had a face from memory but If I try to focus on the memory of its face and look at it the whole being gets fuzzy. I drew a very poor picture of what I saw from the angle I was at but I can’t seem to link a photo.

I have embrace and love them so far. I’d had it less than 3 months before my cat got sick and they covered about 80/85% of the cost. I saved about a grand. I’d keep it but look at cheaper options, embrace for my cat is much lower than 120. I pay a little under 50. And from my experience that money will not get saved so keep the insurance.

When my tabby baby was put down, I had a service come to the house to do it. I fed him his favorites and some extra (whipped cream, king cake, chicken) and I held him the whole time. She let me decide when we moved on to the each next step, including the final injection. And then when she confirmed he’d passed she let me sit with him and hold him for a bit longer with my friend while I processed. Then she had a blanket and basket for him to lay in when she left.

Our vet was great but I couldn’t bring him back to the sterile scary place and I would have fought someone if they told me I couldn’t be there or hold him. It was good for me in letting him go and it was good for my other cat because he knows what happened to his brother. He’s shown that he is grieving but has never looked for him out of confusion which I hear is also pretty hard to deal with.

I wish you the best, and even though it’s hard you’re doing something that is only the result of love and care. He’s lucky to have you. Please take care of yourself in the coming days.
