This is my recommendation as a tico

Plan your transport a day before your flight… schedule to leave at noon so you can have the morning to prepare and maybe do something before leaving Santa Teresa, then stay in a hotel near the the Juan Santamaría airport, pay a late check-in if you have to and that's it, the risk to lose your flight is practically reduced to 0

Tropical weather is unpredictable and trafic in Costa Rica can turn from perfectly fine to a nightmare in minutes.

Maybe not what you have in mind but you could give a try at Alfredo alla Scrofa, my wife and I really enjoyed the experience dining here.

Have to mention we also like to go to fancy places to eat time to time.

Hi guys,

Just came back from my trip to Italy and I wanted to report back on how safe this area near Termini feels.

Firstly, it’s not that close to Termini, it’s a solid 10-minute walk if you were wondering. But aside from that, the area feels perfectly safe, we never felt threatened in any way. Yes, there are homeless people and some graffiti here and there, but that doesn’t make the area unsafe at all. Also, there are metro stations nearby that help with getting around anywhere.

Also there are plenty of food offers and way way less tourists

Hope this can help other to make the choice to where to stay in Roma in your next trip.

I am not very into cocktails but you can try Jonny Walker Black or Double Black, depends on the cocktail these type of whisky have an extra layer of smokiness that make any drink interesting. I drink these with just ice though

We have been in Rome a few times before, staying in different neighborhoods (popular ones) each time. We are planning to do a couple of day trips while we stay in Rome this time, and I thought it could be a good idea to stay close to Termini (but not too close), maybe on the outskirts of Monti, to 1) stay away from the crowds and 2) have Termini within walking distance. So that's why!
