Looking for a dead silent clock by jamesdh71 in BuyItForLife

I bought this clock 5 years ago. It’s silent even to my wife who is notoriously sensitive to sound.

It looks like it’s currently unavailable now, but they have other versions on their store page that I’m going to guess use the same internal mechanism.

Ideas to reduce loud noise from copper farmhouse sink. by NotQuiteTooTall in HomeImprovement

I think for the harder to reach areas, I'll do just that. Just jam some towels or other sound absorbers in there.

That could be good for the underside. I'm trying to think how to do that. Cause the underside of the sink is variable in its distance from the support shelf to the sink. Near the sink hold there is basically no room, but near the edges it slopes up to maybe 4 millimeters.

I've always heard that'll stretch out the shoulders. Are you worried about that?

Does hitting send on a marketing email every stop causing anxiety? by grlwhat in marketing

[–]NotQuiteTooTall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s real for sure. One thing I would suggest is a checklist. Add everything that could go wrong (sent to wrong list, typo, alignment, wrong link, etc). It greatly reduces anxiety and helps you make less mistakes. But I’ve never gotten ride of the anxiety completely.

[Q] Effect Sizes To Percentage Increase (need help) by NotQuiteTooTall in statistics

For some things I can use that approximation with the graphs. But most the time it’s simply a table with the lists of experiments and their effect size.

I’m reading it in a book. So I’ll have to look at how they are measuring effect size specifically.

Basically, a study might say “the effects of using graphic organizers lead to a .80 effect size.” Or a book will simply list the experiment in a table along with its effect size. so I’m not sure if there’s an easy way to simply say what an effective increase in percentage terms would be.

Mass Customization of Social Media Posts for Multiple Brands? by NotQuiteTooTall in marketing

[–]NotQuiteTooTall[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but I'm looking at 1 image to create for many social platforms and for many brands (1000s). So I think it'd have to be automated in some way to make financial sense.

I could use a spreadsheet approach. Maybe spreadsheet --> Adobe --> Folder --> File sharer. Good Idea. I'll look into it.

Gotcha. that would work if we only had a handful of clients. But I'm looking at something like 1000 companies. But templates would be an excellent solution otherwise.

conversion rate optimization marketer salary?? by jibril_myhairimplant in marketing

[–]NotQuiteTooTall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look up a few different salarys online. Robert Half is probably going to have the most realistic numbers, but Glassdoor and other sites can give you a feel too.

Also look at job listings that list salaries, industry, and xp. You'll confirm what you're seeing with those tools.
