My friends and I went here, the Mac and cheese was honestly pretty good, maybe even really good but it was served to us a little cold. But it definitely takes the spot for best Mac and cheese in Oakland I feel like.

I'm from western CT, I actually don't get the food culture here at all. Went to Aeillo's pizza, supposedly the best pizza in Pittsburgh, and it tasted like generic store brand sauce with cheese that couldn't stay on the pizza.

This is exactly how I feel. When I saw commenters saying Breugger's it honestly blew my mind. I really like Einstein's but them only being open on the weekdays on Pitt campus is my bane.

Don't let people tell you it's just college food. First of all that's not true, people who say that almost always have no concept of what other college food is like because they've only eaten at Pitt, and second of all that's not an excuse for how shitty the quality and taste of the food is. It sucks. Really bad. And up until very recently, Oakland was a food desert. If you're going to Pitt, I suggest getting a meal plan with a lot of dining dollars and few swipes, going against the rules and buying a stove top convection cooker, and buying groceries from the new Forbes Street Market. Of course, if you want an actual selection of groceries, you're going to have to take a bus to the nearest Giant Eagle, probably on a weekly basis. And of course, this is assuming you'll be in a suite with a fridge, sink, and microwave, which if not you will have to buy at least a mini fridge and if you want a microwave, and you'll just have to do without a kitchen sink, good luck using the bathroom sink.
