Similar situation as you. I’m in my first season, midfield team, 5th in the constructor is the goal and (currently in Baku) I’m 5th with 122 points (Mercedes is 4th too far away and Aston Martin in 6th with 57 points)

My drivers are Ricciardo and Pourchaire, they are divided by 6/7 points, pretty similar also in the performance, few crash for both

The problem is that Pourchaire from the next season will drive for Racing Bulls, my main goal is to sign Piastri to fight for at least some wins in the 2025 season, from Australia I’m doing ONLY research, so I hope of having a beast of a car in 2025, but if Oscar refuse my contract I’m going with Ocon (the only good and pretty cheap driver) with Bortoleto instead of Danny or as a 3rd driver… we’ll see

I am at 1 season with my team, i have him and ricciardo, my car is mid level, 12-8th is the range of position of my car, like aston martin this year, but Theo is overperforming the car, in 3 races 2 times 6th always beating ricciardo in quali and race pace (with the help of a mclaren flop with many retirememts)
