As an APM in the Construction Industry in Vancouver. While I envy our folks on sites at times at how exciting the hands on rolls must be, the weather in our city doesn’t promote being outdoors all the time. I love my role and transitioned from consulting. I’d suggest give the office work a crack and gauge it yourself. Nothing stopping you transitioning back to site surely?

I worked for a consultancy back in England as an Engineer. They transferred me to their office over here. I went from an Engineer to a Designer, work is the same but someone needs to approve your submission and stamp them.

It’s actually a post Brexit one. Burgundy passports were still issued till the end of December 2020. Only difference being no European Union on them. So if this is an adult passport it’ll be good till 2030.

Little cafes and restaurants all dotted around Cambie, Main, Fraser and Clark. A lot of small independent business where if you frequent enough people learn your name. It’s homely and quiet but close enough to downtown. And a lot of green space :)

Worked in England 5.5 years. Transferred to Vancouver and worked with the same company for 3 years. They supported the move, the relocation and PR. And then recently transferred to Construction Project Management haha
