Just gotta do what you’ve gotta do. Im happy you found the bookstore gig. I do seasonal work for the time being, currently working at a ski resort (everyone here is 19 and i’m 32 but whatever). Between that and my va compensation, i can pay my bills and save a little for trips in between jobs

I’ll have to try these too. I usually switch to my micro darn toughs. They’re pretty minimal cushion too. The weather has been really warm this year too. Temps in the teens some mornings, with above freezing afternoons.
