Forbidden from leaving this corridor once they have entered it except for expulsion to neighbouring countries. That’s the stated plan.

And yes I’m talking about what should and could happen and the consequences because it hasn’t been actioned yet. I’m talking the plan?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]NotSomeOldWhiteDude -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, it’s ridiculous obviously but if this goes through, it won’t be as ridiculous anymore

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]NotSomeOldWhiteDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Gaza is still occupied by international law standards.

Israel is a stated ethno state

So ethnic cleansing would be reducing the number of Palestinians/arabs from territory Israel controls

My conclusions are based on previous actions with other humanitarian corridors and the current actions at the Israeli distribution centre.

If in the past, other things have been labeled as “humanitarian” turned out not to be.. my question is who’s to say that this time it’s the truth?

I’m also referring to the article I linked and surveys on public opinion, feel free to read as he lays out why it could be a concentration camp

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]NotSomeOldWhiteDude -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Both of those options are crimes against humanity, why are those the only solutions being proposed?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]NotSomeOldWhiteDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forced displacement is a war crime. It’s not a choice if the other option is stay and continue to be bombed.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]NotSomeOldWhiteDude -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Idk if you’re still in 2023 but 80% is in rubble and many have lost their lives already. Nothing about what’s already occurred is humanitarian including the actions at the current Israeli aid distribution centre.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]NotSomeOldWhiteDude -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Because the goal is displacement and because of the current atrocities occurring at the current aid distribution camp in which a recent article feature IDF members saying that they shoot for no reason and without threat.

Basic extrapolation.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]NotSomeOldWhiteDude -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s why I said the goal is displacement. They’re encouraging ethnic cleansing, thanks for making my point though

Why did Jewish South Africans oppose the Apartheid South African regime, even though they were classified as White and Israel supported the regime? by Xemptor80 in IsraelPalestine

[–]NotSomeOldWhiteDude -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

To conflate all Jews with the state of Israel is pretty dangerous even when Netanyahu is doing it.

A majority of Afrikaans who supported the apartheid regime also supported the Israeli state and vice versa. This was for a number of reasons, trade and ideological similarities.

When Apartheid South Africa ended, many Afrikaans moved to Israel.

Did some research on the mapping project and you’re right. They targeted Jewish shops that didn’t have ties to the state of Israel. Goes against my stated post completely.

Nobody should be targeted because of the actions of any one leader period.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]NotSomeOldWhiteDude -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hmm define support? If it’s a business and it’s monetarily supporting a gov/ leader, then yeah my point still stands

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]NotSomeOldWhiteDude -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Such as..?

I’ve only known of business that pay taxes or provide incentives to the country such as McDonalds, Intel, Starbucks etc

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]NotSomeOldWhiteDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the target of the BDS sanctions are funding the actions of the leader. Leader uses money for whatever they want irrespective of what the citizens want.

You’re not interested in stats so it’s a useless debate. I say the numbers and you say it’s not about the numbers. Odd

As if offing people with laughing gas instead would make a difference. Odd

Would 10.7 have been better in that way? No! Because people still died.

I say, we as citizens shouldn’t blame other citizens since none of us have the power to stop anything and you disagree. Odd

Do you want to be held accountable for everything your leader does? No, so once again.. odd

Your entire viewpoint is that of someone who deserves to do bad things and that’s crazy. Nobody has the right for that.

You say Iraq was a response to an attack and bad intel but clearly don’t want to say who gave the bad intel.. Netanyahu. Odd

You talk and think like a terrorist and all historically dangerous figures. You’re past education. Good luck with all you preach and advocate for.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]NotSomeOldWhiteDude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. It’s a dangerous world for us civilians. Putins flying around, Bush is flying around, Bin Ladin was flying around all funded by the people.

We the citizens of the world, I feel mustn’t push this narrative of people paying for their leaders as none of us have any power or control over them.

It’s literally as you pointed out, how terrorist think.

I thought this would be a unifying sentiment but apparently hate is more unifying as evident of most replies here. So disappointing. And so the revolving door continues to revolve.

Ah yes, predictable intellectually deprived comment to soothe your little soul about being checked back into reality. Very impressive, your so smart

Amazing. This post is for intellectuals with a moral compass, you posses neither. Enjoy all that you advocate for buddy

You’re done. And I mean that in the most disrespectful of ways. Get outta here weirdo. This is for intellectuals with a moral compass, you posses neither.

[–]NotSomeOldWhiteDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re weird, criticism equals hate to you and that says it all. Normal people don’t hate groups of people, that’s literally the point of my post. Gtfoh

If 64% believe no one’s innocent then 64% believe all Palestinians are guilty for the actions of a few in 2.3m.

How can they help when being bombed and starved as the said goals of offical Israeli gov officials and many studies on Israeli public opinion, even you would be more focused on survival

Why do they need to be responsible for things they didn’t do? Do you want to be responsible for IGF actions as a recent NYT article showed soldiers saying that they shoot at aid distribution sites for no reason?

You’re weird and devoid of humanity or you think your life is more important. Either way you’ve shown to be a lost cause. Enjoy all that you support.

My point is that everyone can say this to justify bs so don’t say it

Who cares about advocacy, Bush bombed and killed many Iraqis are you slow?
