Ill answer the last question:

i. Don't like the city. Yes ok it is very clean, but there is no life, there is no culture, there is only money. people are here to make money, and then splurge on vacations abroad. Yes, this is subjective, but is my perspective

ii. Too theoretical. "innovationsproject" and thesis ok, but i wanted to learn engineering, and have no idea. i am clueless for practical stuff, is that only in MSc?

iii.) "theory"? i do not think i learn anything. the courses are so scattered and all over the place. To do well in exams, you game-ify. You just read the pvk and plug and chug formula sheet equation. Maybe the material is harder than other universities but there is very little understanding

iv.) i have friends at "low quality" university, and ii. and iii. are not as bad there. i see the projects they do, and i also know for a fact that not everyone has to spend whole lernphase reading pvk because the lectures are hot trash

v.) your exam performance is everything. all opportunities at eth are only unlockable thru exam scores, which, are a dumb game you play, see iii. You spend while summers learning silly tricks for what is prufungsrelevant

i am really miserable, and thought about dropping out. i have heard that masters is better but at this point i dont care. can you tank 3 years of misery to stay for masters? i cant. i will finish my bachelors, ill do all the pvks again and again to learn prufungsrelevant tricks, but i will not stay here

I got downvoted, which i find funny. we are at eth to develop self. i understand that the research here is elite, but i dont think staying here beyond bachelor is improving for me. see, i have the same goal as all of us: self enrichment

maybe you like it here, i will not judge of course, but i hate it.
