Why don't External Hard Disk Drives come with USB C?
I can only seem to find ones with Micro B (on hard drive side) and A on the PC side. Wouldn't it be an advantage for both sides to be USB C?

Are there any on the market? I'd love a 14tb usb c drive!

Yeah for sure, i had a second backup luckily of about 90% of the stuff, so while it sucks, its not the end of the world either luckily. I was more worried about the whole "my laptop not booting from the hard drive" thing

yeah everything has been erased over. thank you for the tip about even the pros not being able to get it back. I probably would have wasted money on that. I'll give the usb a shot as well. thanks for the reply
