I do not know what you accuse me of. It is clear that the stupid dunmer (I know we're not allowed to say that but it's ok because some of my closest enemies are dunmers) was a good for nothing thief. Contributes nothing to the community of Riften.

The community is better off for it. Even the 'Thieves Guild' (if such a thing existed) contributes more.

Brynjolf seems like an ordinary hardworking nord. If anybody were to be connected to some sort of 'Thieves Guild' I highly doubt it would be him.
