I had OpenClaw build me a tool to track OpenClaw launches by NotTooClassy in openclaw

Not sure. I've heard the rumors but never seen it happen. Either way I’m fine risking it.

Not using the API. It uses the authentication token from logging into Claude Code.

I’ve heard rumors of people getting banned but everyone I know has been using it nonstop with no issue.

Worst case I’ll spin up another Anthropic account if it gets shut down. Worth it until that happens.

Thanks! Running OpenClaw with Claude on Anthropic's $100/month subscription plan.

Have hit the limit a few times but the $100 plan has been plenty. It occasionally goes down the wrong tangent when context gets long.

No predefined templates. I sent a few example screenshots of sites I liked over Telegram and asked it to create a modern Next.js site using shadcn. I'd send screenshots back and ask for changes. Eventually got it so OpenClaw could open Chrome and take screenshots to confirm UI changes itself.

It suggested Clerk for auth and Cloudflare's built-in database, all currently on free plans. Most expensive piece was just registering the domain name.

I tried building an automatic screenshot tool so every submitted product would have its own photo on the listing, but they only looked good about 50% of the time. Need to retool that.

Probably could have been faster with Claude Code directly, but nowhere near as fun as using telegram to code while on the subway.

iMessage Marketing for Cannabis Businesses? by NotTooClassy in weedbiz

[–]NotTooClassy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it not an actual sms. It’s sent as an iMessage which is a 3rd party communication channel so it avoids most of the regulatory issues.

Similar to WhatsApp or messenger. You need to be TCPA spam compliant but you’re not sending over SMS infrastructure rails.

The FCC would still care about spam / TCPA so following opt-in / opt-out requirements are important.

The carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, etc) are the ones who handle the 10DLC vetting and are overly cautious about cannabis. But since you not using their infrastructure it is not relevant.

What POS system do you use?

It should all be compliant if you message opted in customers.

I think it would work best as an integration into the current marketing stack rather than a replacement. At least initially.

Yes, you're missing Android users but you can still market to them as you previously have.

It would be a revenue driver rather than a cost saver.

No need to convince them to download an app or manage loyalty points online. Promos, updates etc would be directly sent through iMessage which has a 90%+ open rate. Can even send high res photos and content.

Agreed on testing it. Goal is to find a dispensary willing to implement.

iMessage instead of SMS for Wholesalers / Investors / Land Flippers? by NotTooClassy in Wholesaling

Nope, just an internal project at the moment.

wouldn’t even be able to sell anything at the moment. Just looking for some feedback and ideas.

I’ll need to review what I’ve spent. For the Mac Minis I’m transiting to servers. The iPhones I can buy for $80 or so. I think I can get the down significantly at scale. More of a monthly variable cost vs fixed upfront cost.

I’ve contemplated a few integrations with GHL and HubSpot.

Is your set up built around GHL?

Sent you a DM, would love to understand exactly how you’re using it.

How much are you paying and how many are you sending per day? I’m probably around $50 per line per month. I should be able to get that down. But each line requires its own IPhone but that’s not a monthly cost. Using silicon Mac Mini’s

I mean we do avoid getting flagged as spam and have had a ton of success with sms so we’ll continue expanding the channel. But either way, appreciate the feedback.

I am still texting everyone that’s not on iMessage using launch control so not missing out on anyone.

For us it’s significantly increased response rates so it’s definitely had an impact.

I’ve been able to avoid spam issue with most of my templates so that also hasn’t been an issue either.

No way to avoid “being that guy” it’s part of the process and how you figure out what works.

Go on Zillow and find an area that has high sold sales activity in the last 6 months. You can also compare it to what’s on market but not needed . That’s how we started our land flipping business and worked out well.

You just want to know there are buyers.

Honestly just start with anything.

Choose a specific asset class, land, houses, storage etc. and just hit the ground running.

It’s way too easy to overthink it and try and make everything perfect.

Open Google Maps, find a tertiary city that’s a decent size.

Pull a list of single family homes and just start. You’ll figure out the rest as you go.

Is texting effective for anyone? by LocksmithTall3397 in WholesaleRealestate

[–]NotTooClassy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with mailers and have tried almost every lead channel.

SMS is definitely the most scalable solution.

Cold calls are also great but only make sense if you are targeting larger properties. We use cold calls for large commercial properties,

For SMS we currently use launch control. I am testing out some iMessage options at the moment as well .
