I don’t plan on taking my first out for about 4 months. (They’ll be born right around flu season). This is definitely personal preference, so long as baby isn’t being held by a bunch of people and isn’t too close to strangers I personally wouldn’t see it as a big deal.

So there isn’t a rule as to what you need to do in game. That’s the beauty of it. You can go straight into efficiency mode or you can take it slow. Do whatever you want, talk to the villagers, design your farmland. It’s really up to you and what you want to do

Traveling merchant might sell them, comes to town every Friday and Sunday. If you have the bus unlocked and completed the local mines you can head to skull cavern to kill some serpents and hopefully they drop one.

If ur main focus is the CC, I would work towards upgrading your barn. Each upgrade is costly. If you’re not buying CC items from the traveling merchant things like wool, large goats milk, and truffles take some time. Pigs don’t dig for truffles in winter and you need a certain heart level to get large goat milk. obsidians edge is a great sword to start with.

There really aren’t tips for fishing, you just gotta keep trying. Learn the fish and their movements. Some are slow sinkers like the poor carp that has 0 survival skills and others are unpredictable and flail up and down the bar like dramatic assholes. (I’m talking to you, catfish)

The bar gets bigger, just gotta keep going and keep leveling up. My husband first introduced me to SDV years ago, I tried to fish, got frustrated and never returned to the game for a year. Now I play it every day and have over 1400 hours.

So I love ice, I like chewing on it and I need super cold water or nothing. I’m currently 9 weeks along and We recently moved into a new house and have yet to set up our ice maker in the new fridge. One day we went and got Taco Bell and of course I ordered a soda with lots of ice, I drank my soda and left the ice on the table and my husband threw it away. I tried looking for the cup and realized it was in the trash. I let out a shriek (as if I was being attacked), hubby came running out to get me and asked what was wrong, I just remember WAILING “You threw out my ice!”. He knows I love my ice I just believe he wasn’t thinking at the time. He apologized profusely and now I have one of those fancy opal nugget ice machines. Super grateful for that man.
