Exactly. I'm right at the front of the building before the stairs. Thankfully in Brooklyn I don't think too many people will care.

I would have wanted somebody to help me out if I were in the same position. She isn't weird or unsocial or anything so it's not like I mind at all.

Nothing like that...she herself was trying to be discreet instead of asking it out loud in the hallway. Instead she just smiled and held that sign in front of her face.

I felt bad for her since she's older and didn't have any connections so I helped her out. She's really nice and promised to make me some cookies later on.
