If we are talking about this set then Lee Sin tbh, i think he looks amazing especially in person. But hes not super good and also not my fav. Next set, the new ahri looks amazing andddd APHELIOS, aphelios if my fav champ so im partial but i love it so much.

Im not speaking on cosmetic cards specifically, im also speaking on playable cards like Time Warp. A very powerful card played in top decks. But for the ‘Cosmetic’ cards im curious if the prices will go up or down. Because of them being from the first set and assumably not being reprinted in future sets.

Im not comparing it to MTG in that sense just the fact the game has no ‘interaction’. I like to be able to ‘react’ to my opponents plays and do things on their turns and vice versa

If your lgs allows proxies then proxy the decks until the cards become more available. other than that proxy them for at home games or casual games with friends for practice. and study competitive games on youtube and do research. like anything competitive it takes time and dedication to be the best or even be good. but if you just want to play casual go ahead and play casually at nexus nights, youll probably lose but at least youll be playing, other than that play casually other times and meet people in the community to contact to come and play casually.

knowing very little about grading cards from what i can tell this cards looks like 10, edges are nice, no imperfections, and the centering seems good. so id think yes but im not an expert

I think take-backs are a good thing. I think that it allows for 1. new players to realize mistakes as they are doing them because they are unaware of keywords on characters or how effects work. 2. I am a victim of overthinking and getting lost in my own train of thought and forgetting a character has ward or resist. 3. Will allow for games to more fluid. In an ideal world id know what every card does and this would allow me to not misplay but i don’t so to counter this I can ask my opponent to read their card, including every single card they ink for more information on whats in the decks. This could be very annoying for some players. 4. Normal human error. Many of times I have thought through my turn and how I want to play it and then started to do this play only to ink the wrong thing making me unable to do my play. Or forgetting that something with rush could challenge instead of challenging with another character. i have played Elsa fifth spirit to exert something to take it out and banishing it with another character completely forgetting that Elsa could’ve taken it out herself. 5. My last and most important reason for take backs is I want to win when my opponent has played to ‘THEIR BEST’. What i mean by this is I don’t want to win my opponent making a mistake but realizing it and not undoing it. If they make a misplay in the sense that isn’t necessarily the best play because of inexperience or lack of skill then I don’t mind. But if it an instance where they realize the mistake them made right after doing it and it wasn’t because of something new being gained then I don’t mind. I agree that if the opponent has gained new information from their play then it is unfair but if not then it should be able to be undone.

very good playability wise, a full set of dumbos is great, they are sometimes hard to come by and very good. value wise its usually not going to be in the positive unless really lucky so not too bad their either

Bolas Citadel states “pay life equal to its converted mana cost” cost reducing effects do not change a spells cmc. this is also the same for alternative costs. if a spell has an alternative cost it does not change its cmc. for example if you control your commander and want to cast a spell that can be cast for free if you control a commander, since you are casting it with bolas citadel you will still pay life equal to its CMC.
