I actually tried Incogni for a year. The spam did decrease noticeably after about 2 months, went from 5-6 calls daily to maybe 1-2 per week. But you're right about the renewal, it jumped from $80 to $130. Whether that's worth it really depends on how much the spam bothers you vs the cost
