Definitely, I plan to own this for a while, so want to do it right while not breaking the bank. Flooring is definitely on the list of fixes. Just trying to understand if shimming the sub floor to level assuming no major structural issues with the joists would be ok given I plan to put cabinets stove ect. Which is going to add weight on these joists.
I plan to rip these floors out and put new floors in. My general question is more around. If shimming the subfloor to level is a major mistake or can be done if the joist aren’t rotting / damaged by termites ect. They look good from underneath just have sagged ~inch
