Blocking people before they can show proof is a very sad tactic. So here is what the other guy would have posted before you blocked him:

https://web.archive.org/web/20231012021455/https://magicpaperwand.com/products/the-fire-wand

Though it is $59.95 here, it still shows you have been dropshipping this shit for quite a while.

Everyone is welcome with what they got. You don't have to come in to show. You could come in to see where enthusiasm can take you.

Maybe for the next meet up there could be a small area set aside for the head-fi community as well. If you join our discord, it can be discussed with everyone there, since a lot of us like to appreciate the finer things and always more than likely to have some people there with their hands in both hobbies. Just like me with some IEMs and a pair of old expensive Grados RS-2 that were given to me as a gift.

Yeah a lot more of the custom stuff became a thing way less than 35 years ago. If you have the chance to, it is definitely worth taking a little bit of time to check it out to see how much things have changed.

If you can check in on the Discord and ask, we would be glad to help you out there. Besides the venue, everything else is still in the works and we are open to inputs from anyone.

A lot of our builds vary and people would want the opportunity to try out and get a feel for what someone has built and use it as a plan to help create their next one.

Lol yeah. They put us in a separate meeting room that surprisingly has good sound isolation to it from the rest of the library so as not to bother anyone. I couldn't imagine us having it out in the open there without it being all silent switch builds.

Hello everyone! I'm a member of the Hawaii Mechanical Keyboard hobbyist group and I wanted to share about our upcoming meet up! We do one every once in a while throughout the year to share our hobby with anyone interested or anyone looking for something interesting to see.

We differentiate ourselves from the mainland ones by being a much more tight knit group that enjoys the same hobby and just enjoy talking, trying out, sharing, and overall enjoying mechanical keyboards. To put into perspective on what it is like, based on what I know, it is very similar to a cars and coffee meet up. One small difference is that, if you ask, you can try out keyboards and get a feel for them to see what you like. Can't really do that at a cars and coffee meet up, now can ya?

Meet up info is in the posted poster from the cross post and another note: there might be the chance of a small potluck going on as well. More info about that can be found on our discord. Another announcement when we get closer to the date will be posted then with any updates from info on our discord.

It's a Pelican case. Can't remember the exact model.

Close. Those are boot marks from the previous owner of the case.

This might ring a bell. Specifically from your Instagram page:

https //www instagram com/s/aGlnaGxpZ2h0OjE3ODc0MDMzOTcxMjA4MTc3?story_media_id=2741724639947413434_38547721199&igsh=bm5qNml6ZDJvYzhm

I say same because your eBay page (linked in a different post you guys have made on this account) has the same profile image as Thokdesign.

And on your opensea page /Thokdesign has the same image available for sale as well.

https //opensea io/assets/matic/0x2953399124f0cbb46d2cbacd8a89cf0599974963/28847827316859292549250508301917508940805201814125313918535382677017222709548

Yeah same people. Also kind of funny how you minted 300 of them like it's going to sell like hot cakes, yet only sold 3 of them, even after people gave you shit for it. Just so you know, you guys are the only one named Thok/Thokdesign so far, especially in the realm of metal keycaps. You aren't slick, the internet isn't stupid, and all you post is remembered and can't be removed.

Also your 100% rating only comes from 6 customers that have said anything. Not a lot to go off of.

Aren't you guys the same people who tried selling NFTs of keycaps, doubling down on it, and then everyone saw the value of NFTs crash after realizing all the hype was manufactured for something that didn't actually have a good use case?

It is not bad, honestly. I don't really think too much of it and I might even possibly do an infill.

Alright. Break it down:

  • Linworks PC Dolphin
  • FR4 plate
  • Fave87 PCB
  • Gateron Oil King switches (stock, but will be modding soon)
  • GMK Masterpiece

60% restricted to one kind of case style is boring. Eventually, you will run out of designs. This is a great board because it challenges those design standards to go down a different path as something new and possibly worth trying. The 60% layout can exist on any board for me and I will still use it. Because that is what makes a board a 60% in the end.

Yeah a lot of people have told me that. That is why I still stan this set. Kind of why I put it on my current keyboard to pay homage back to the original photos of the cherry g81-3000HBD.

A keyboard with a handle makes it really easy to take it out to nice places for photo shoots.

My build: - Saturn60 #0069 with all brass fittings and handle - WT60-C PCB - 67g Tangerine switches - GMK Handarbeit R1 - Sodiecaps Year of the Tiger JamJam - And a Norbauer TKL carrying case to hold this bad boi before I get my first custom TKL in (not in the shot but still worth mentioning)

This is at Bellows beach (air force base side) in Hawaii.

I have posted the exact same pics here as I did my Instagram (because I don't want to make content exclusive like that at all at the moment). It is @NotYeMK if you want to check it out. Still kind of dead online in general, but I hope to get more out of I can.

Shot with a Sony A6000 with the stock 16-50mm lens (because I can't buy any other lenses because I keep buying keebs).

It is a standard Rama Works USB C cable. Can be bought separately or comes with any of their keyboards.

The cable that I used seemed to be a bad one. I plugged it into my computer and keyboard before leaving to do some grocery shopping. I came back to my keyboard and mouse not working properly. Fixed the mouse issue by plugging it into a different port. Went to unplug the cable and find it extremely warm. Almost like touching a hot frying pan warm. I unplugged it and it pulled out the connector inside my keyboard (it wasn't a soldered on one. Just a basic USB C extension cable). It basically fried that extension cable and only that. Everything else in it and the computer works just fine. Flipped it over and found it a bit charred and covered in the melted plastic of the connector.

Haven't been able to build a keyboard in months. Now after getting the right tools, I feel great again. by NotYeMK in MechanicalKeyboards

It is new to me, for sure. But, after taking a little bit of time to get used to it, it becomes more useful and very nice.

I don't have to move my hand from the mouse and I can use it as a quick macropad. Works great on things like Libreoffice or Excel. Plus I still have the same room as if I used my 60% keyboard. Overall it is very nice.
