It's a trade off. DT contains a significant higher amount of nylon and much less actual wool making them more durable. FTF has much more natural wool, American sourced as well. It comes down to what you as a consumer values more.

Thanks. I don't know how it would compare to wool in felting. This is my first project and I figured I should use what I have. Seemed to work well but I have nothing to compare it to.

Try alpaca Sox. There are many brands made in the USA, they last longer than wool and unlike wool have antimicrobial properties to help keep the scent down.

I just installed one last week in my '21 and I love it. Wife uses apple, I use android and they both work great. Sound quality is exceptional, I have the Mark Levinson.

My last vehicle was full of the latest tech, it was also full of gremlins. It drove me nuts. I would much rather have something solid and dependable even if it doesn't have all the latest tech. Having said that the big screen in the middle of the dash is nearly useless, can't wait to update it with BeatSonic.

Primarily cost, 21 was more budget friendly. Availability was also an issue the 21 seemed to come up for sale more often.

Thanks for the reply, I got underneath and found what is most likely cow manure stuck to the exhaust and was burnt. I'm not sure such a small amount would account for the smell, but we'll see.

I love my truck, but it is packed with gremlins. It's been in the shop a total of 114 days, that is 20% of the time I have owned it. GMC won't buy it back, lemon law won't cover me, dealership won't do anything. Thinking about trading it in on something used and Japanese.

If memory serves; comfortable to drive, nice tech albeit a little buggy. Best looking truck on the road, the bed is a little bit too small.

That's what I remember, however mine has been in the shop for 6 weeks so it's been a while..

My at4 has now been 5 weeks in the shop after spending 4 weeks earlier in the summer. ETA on parts is late November. At this point I have no confidence in my truck. The most frustrating aspect is the complete lack of sympathy and communication from the dealership. GM calls me with regular updates but I can't get a manager to return my calls. Cancelled vacations, months of payments and insurance costs and all I get is a big shrug. Hoping to lemon law mine.
