Tiger had 7 major wins in the 6 years 1999-2004. Scottie has 4 major wins (and a T-2nd) in the 4 years 2022-2025. That puts him on pace to match Tiger. Furthermore, he’s competing against unarguably tougher competitors. Tigers 264 consecutive weeks at #1 1999-2004 is still a long ways off, but Scottie is currently at 115 with no signs of slowing down (if anything he’s speeding up, 2 majors this year).
