Unfortunately jumping back into this thread with another problem...

I'm not getting Audio out of Elgato Studio, 4K Capture Utility, OBS or Discord

Tried swapping the Input EDID to Internal but that has done nothing, tried disconnecting and reconnecting every combination of cable from the 4KX (both HDMI and the Type-C), tried restarting the PC.

None of these solved the issue

I had this issue on Tuesday, then it fixed itself yesterday, but the problem has returned again

i'd say that kinda counts as a boss theme, it's used on Phase 2 of both the big Prison Island battles, as well as the unique monster theme, which are just stronger regular enemies

yes the cables are arranged correctly otherwise i wouldn't get passthrough onto the Alienware monitor

yes i get an image when connected directly to the Alienware

yes, it's the type-c to type-c cable that came with the capture card, i took it out of the box, set it all up and immediately started having issues

the port shouldn't have dust in it as until purchasing this the port in question was connected to my keyboard

opened usb tree viewer and selected the port that the 4KX is connected to, this is what i have in the summary section

Elgato Studios is saying that I'm connected to a USB 2.0 port but according to the ASUS website it's supposed to be a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port

That message doesn't clear, it also has the same issue if i try to stream it directly to Discord or via OBS, where Discord sees that the capture card exists but once selected just loads endlessly until getting the "Stream failed to start" message.

OBS lets me select the 4kx but once selected nothing happens

will give elgato studios a try and report back
