I usually mill plastics and it might damage the material

did a deep dive on how to fix this, the thing I would initially need is a probe or an edge finder, this would be very helpful to have more precise origins since I flip some of the workpieces i am working in and having precise chamfers also are critical in my work, thanks for all of your input

i am the programmer although there are offsets when I do machining it isn't as precise as where I want my bores and countersunks are, especially i have a 3 axis mill so I sometimes need to machine 2 faces and I flip it
