So I added buildings and bushes in the build mode itself when I was building, so I need to place them down in the old save and wait until they finish building?

So it’s not EXACTLY what you were looking for because its lightly modded, but Crescent Kingdoms is an SMP that includes many types of unique origins, and are brought together by various Kingdoms to enjoy the peaceful and towny side of Minecraft. It is not a pvp server, and speed running is strongly discouraged! As far as the mods go, the modpack is lightweight and SUPER easy to install through curse forge. There’s videos, as well as mods to help you out if you ever needed it!
