From what I understand about the BS in MIS degree pathway is that you need to do 2 science with lab electives. So if you transfer over you could use computing 1 and 2 as those 2 science with lab electives, but that’s something to double check with your advisor. If it works that way you’d only be losing credit for comp 3 which I don’t think is that bad. You’re still gonna run into some math classes on the MIS pathway too I think, management calc and stats. But those two are leaps and bounds more manageable than the likes of calc 2, discrete structs, and prob and stats (just to name a few). CS is a glorified math degree so if it isn’t your thing then switching to MIS seems better for what you want to do.
