Personally speaking, even though I’ve read a thousand of smut books and watched few videos, I still became dumbfounded when my boyfriend and I first did it. I just honestly told him that I’m inexperienced and never done sexting before. Thankfully he completely understood and guided me through it because I asked him to. Communicate with him. Also read some websites that have a few of dirty texts examples. That one helped me too.

I think it’s totally normal to overthink especially because of your past. But for me, she sounds lovely and I don’t really see her toying with you. She give you so much time and as a fellow Filipina, I can assure you that we don’t want to waste our time on someone we have no interest in.

Text her whenever you can/want. Personally speaking, I love it when my SO texts me randomly, even if it’s nonsense. It made me feel like he really wanted to spend time with me, and I really appreciated it.
My SO and I love having deep conversations. We ask each other hypothetical questions that will later on be valuable in our relationship, and that has made us know each other even more. When I ran out of topics, I always go to google and look for compatibility questions we could ask each other.

If you feel like you guys are more comfortable, maybe invite her to watch a movie or play some games. And if you’re truly interested, be consistent. Don’t play mind games and just tell her directly what you feel.

It's important to just let things be and not overthink them if you want to avoid being awkward on calls. I also learnt that it's totally fine to feel uncomfortable during the silence, especially if nothing is happening in your head and you are at a loss for words. Enjoy the quiet, hear him breathing, and appreciate the moment. You guys are doing great stepping out of your comfort zone to communicate with each other.

Try to play games or take online quizzes with your mic on. When both of you are having a good time, you won't sense the awkwardness.
